You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or by contacting us directly. We will not use your email address for any purpose other than sending you the newsletter.

Sensitive Information in Submissions

If a future submission format on this platform ever asks for a photo or description of a skin condition, that counts as health-related data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and is treated with extra care: explicit, separate consent is captured at the point of submission (not bundled into a general checkbox), and you can request its removal at any time. As of this update, the live submission form on the Site collects only a star rating, a one-sentence written experience, and an email address for verification — no photos are collected.

International Data Transfers

The tools we use to run this platform (including our hosting, database and email providers) may store or process data outside the UAE. Where this happens, we use providers that maintain recognised data protection and security standards. You can ask us which providers process your data by contacting us at the address below.

Third-Party Services

The Moxie Edit uses third-party services to operate the platform, including analytics providers and email newsletter tools. These providers may process your data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We only use providers that meet adequate data protection standards.

Sign in with Google.If you are not logged in, our pages show Google's sign-in prompt. To display it, Google's sign-in service loads from Google, so Google receives your visit to that page. If you choose to sign in, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us to create your account. If you close the prompt, we remember that on your device for 7 days so it does not appear again during that time.

Reader ratings. When you rate a treatment or ingredient, we use a small cookie so your rating counts once per page. It holds no personal information and expires after 12 months. If you are signed in, your rating is also saved to your account. Written notes are read by Moxie before they appear. An email address is kept only if you choose to share one, and only so we can reply. You can ask us to remove your rating or note at any time.

Some pages may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and recommend reviewing their privacy policies directly.

Data Retention

We retain email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for longer periods as it cannot be used to identify you.
